Executive Director of EOCO

Speaking at the short ceremony in Accra, the Executive Director of EOCO, COP. Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah stated that it was a remarkable day in the history of the Office as it partners with a private entity to fight insurance fraud.

She noted that individuals who engage in insurance fraud commit this crime because they know they could get away without being apprehended or punished.

She urged Enterprise Life to continue training its officers on emerging crime trends in the area of insurance fraud.

She also took the opportunity to thank Enterprise Life for their support in training over a hundred (100) Officers of EOCO on insurance fraud. She said the training was an eye opener to all the officers who benefitted.

General Manager, Enterprise Life Insurance

Madam Solace Odantten-Sowah, General Manager of Operations – Enterprise Life Insurance – on her part, expressed her profound gratitude for the opportunity to partner with EOCO in the fight against insurance fraud.

She noted that within the past three years, insurance fraud had become a matter of concern.

She added that the development is alarming and hence the need to bring EOCO on board to help in the fight against this crime. She also identified the rationale of getting away with this crime as one that continues to embolden perpetrators.

She recalled the countless methods they tried in curbing the issues of insurance fraud but to no avail. She was therefore excited that they now have EOCO as their partner to help stop this crime.

Present at the ceremony last week were: Mr. Osumanu Tankari, Head of Claims, Benefits Payments and Forenics; Mr Daniel Adehenu, General Manager, Finance and Mr. Archibold Lamptey, Snr. Manager, Customer Experience. EOCO on the other hand was also represented by the two Deputy Executive Directors, Director of Administration and some Heads of Unit.
